Scott A. Strong Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Scott A. Strong Memorial Scholarship Fund will be awarding a $2,000 scholarship to a 2012 graduating Lake County Public School student and $500 and $1000 scholarships for runners up. You must have a 2.5 GPA and have a track record of being involved in your community. The scholarship can be used for books, fees or tuition at universities, community colleges or technical schools.

Killer Bees and Honey Bees are ready to defend their colonies at the Annual Corporate Spelling Bee on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Lake Receptions. The competition is a great bee-lding exercise and there is no elimination fro wrong answers. Wet N Wild Discounts

The local version of Dancing with the Stars. Come support local celebrities, Amy Cockcroft, Mark Brionez, Robin Paquette, Darren Gray, Vanessa Oliver, Al Cardiello, Sharon Nobles and Marc Robertz-Schwartz as they compete to win the 2012 Mirror Ball Trophy. $125 for general seating, $150 preferred seating includes a seven course dinner, a beer and wine bar and a vote for your favorite celebrity.
